I spoke,
but the wind exhaled my words away
whispering them to the leaves instead.

I stood,
but my essence vanished from their sight,
a glass pane fogged my dreams unspoken.

I cried,
but the endless sea swallowed my tears,
drops in an ocean of ruthless tides.

I screamed,
but the thunder roared over my pleas
consumed by its unrelenting might.

I raged,
but the soulless machine dulled my shine
a simple cog bashed to fight or flight.

I fought,
but the glassy lake pulled me under
a silent bid to quiet my voice.

I ran,
but the murky fog muted my light
enshrouding all of my pain inside.

I stumbled,
but the ancient trees lifted me up;
gifting me a pause, a breath in time.

I changed; their game, I no longer played;
they needed me alone and afraid.

I remembered; my divine light within
despite the chaos and noisy din.

I rose; a simple voice within the choir
together we rise higher and higher.

A single note entwined in symphony
blending in perfect synchronicity.
A solitary thread woven as one;
a tapestry that cannot be undone.
A single twig may easily snap
But a bundle, no force can unwrap.
