My tender heart abandoned and betrayed,
Once steady nerves now shattered and decayed.
Anguish and despair, searing and unfiltered,
Leaving me lost and bewildered.

Tainted and unfettered honey-laced lies
As empathy and compassion disguised.
Silver-tongued devil with a serpent’s kiss
Whispers of poison that I could not miss.

Beyond my limits you ruthlessly pushed
A reckless betrayal, a cruel ambush.
Silent mocking words, horrid and vicious
The trap you laid bare, callous and malicious.

The fearful child within morosely cries
As embers of hope smolder and die.
No thoughts nor words can truly describe
Eons of torment behind these eyes.

My glowing heart once fierce and full
Now dulled and dimmed, its fire grown cool.
Once a luminous empathic soul
Now withered and wilted, no longer whole.

My fractured grief was left unspoken
My spirit shattered, torn and broken.
Striking me of your own volition
To pummel me into submission.

The dormant beast within unfurled
Lifetimes of blinding rage now hurled.
Years of grief that fed this fire
Misused to spark my soul’s desire.

Justice within my unsettled hands
A vexing choice for me now stands.
Release the chains, their cruel embrace
Or let the fire consume this space.

As guided by Dagaz and the Magician
I wield the tools to shape my vision.
I channel my power, I focus my will.
A new dawn awaits me beyond the hill.
A beacon ahead, my path now clear.
I see the horizon where new dreams appear.

This is my justice, my will now refined.
A victory over the past, my soul realigned.
From the depths of my grief, I’ve shifted my view.
The Hanged Man’s lesson—justice, now true.

Dagaz and the Magician*

Dagaz (DAY-gahz) is the rune of dawn and awakening, symbolizing a turning point or transformation. It represents the light emerging after darkness, the clarity that comes after confusion, and the balance between opposites. This rune signifies the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one, encouraging growth and the pursuit of inner wisdom. Here, Dagaz is carved in Tigers Eye which represents strength, courage, and personal empowerment. It’s often used to help with clarity and to enhance focus.

The Magician* is the next Major Arcana card in Tarot after the Fool. It represents the energy of manifestation and transformation. With all the tools of the tarot at his disposal, he (masculine energy) symbolizes the ability to harness inner power and make dreams a reality. He reminds us that we have the potential to create the life we desire, using both our skills and the energies around us. The Magician calls for focus, resourcefulness, and the confidence to act, knowing that everything we need is already within us. He’s a reminder that we are the creators of our own reality, and our power lies in our ability to focus and direct that energy.

The Hanged Man*

The Hanged Man* , the 12th card of the Tarot , invites a pause for reflection, urging us to look at things from a different perspective. He is suspended in time, not by force, but by choice, as a sign of surrender and acceptance. Sometimes, the path to growth requires us to let go of old patterns and see the world through new eyes. The Hanged Man teaches us that there’s wisdom in stillness, and that taking a step back can lead to profound insights. It’s not about passivity, but about embracing a shift in how we approach life. By letting go, we free ourselves to see the bigger picture and trust the process, knowing that sometimes stillness is the most powerful form of action.
