Eerie whispers, spectral signs
Echo through my tangled mind.
A chilling sigh out of tune,
Haunting melodies entwined.
A soft shadowed secret,
Quietly shared, though unmet.
My astral soul and distant stars
Woven together, a karmic net.
Cosmic threads finely spun
From within “A Dream Undone”.
Another challenge I must face
Or flee from what’s begun.
A grievous past revisited,
Too many words left unsaid.
Now chained in this ghastly dream
With a jolt of horror and dread.
No knock at this door of dreams.
Uninvited, a plot or a scheme?
In sauntered a familiar shadow,
I cried, unable to scream.
Bearing chaos in poisoned hands
Unmoved, through time he now stands.
Wraiths grown from seeds of distrust;
Tainting all, this now barren land.
A choice erased,
My voice ignored.
A fate imposed
Without accord.
My sanctuary shattered,
Walls bent to his will.
Yet beneath the rubble
My resolve stood still.
He claimed the air,
The space, the light—
But my voice burned
Brighter than the night.
I cast him out
As my song was clear,
Life without him
I no longer feared.
Awakened from this dream
At dawn’s first hour.
Emboldened,
Feeling quite empowered.
No longer shackled
By what once was mine,
I step into the light,
No longer confined.
The echoes of struggle
Fade into the past,
In the quiet of dawn,
My strength will last.
With each new breath,
A freedom unfurled,
I rise anew,
Ready to face the world.
