A soundtrack of grief, truth, and transformation.
This playlist was born alongside my poem “Elegy of an Awakening” with songs that surfaced in real time as the words came through. It’s a soundtrack of grief, absurdity, fire, and quiet hope. A companion for those navigating the strange, raw edges of awakening. Yes, it’s an odd collection of songs. I am an odd person. I have learned to just go with it even if it doesn’t seem to fit or make sense at the time.

About This Playlist:
Sometimes, the songs seem to know more than I do. This playlist emerged with each track arriving through random shuffle, but none of them feeling random at all. Some call it shufflemancy: divination through music. I just call it my spirit team having a DJ moment. 🎧✨
Final Note:
As if to seal it all with a cosmic wink, the last song shuffled into place: Could Have Been Me by The Struts. A final anthem. A roar from the spirit. Loud, raw, defiant. This awakening? It’s messy, furious, and absolutely worth it. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
